Step-by-step tutorial for removing the Argus Automatic top cover.
Remove the pin-face screw on the Auto/Manual Control dial.
Remove the brass ASA dial retaining screw with a spanner.
There are two top cover screws under the ASA dial. Don't loose the ball bearings; a little grease will hold them in place during reassembly.
Remove the two hot shoe retaining screws.
Remove rewind knob retaining screw.
Place a screwdriver between the fork of the rewind shaft and unscrew the knob from the shaft.
One top cover screw under the rewind knob.
Remove the pin-face screw.
You can now lift off the top cover. Be careful with the flash sync wire.
