So, you think your T70 motor has failed? 99.5% of the time the motor is simply "stuck".
Symptom: you press the shutter button and three bars flash in the LED display followed by a sereies of short beeps. The following simple procedure should remedy the situation.
Remove the bottom cover. Take note of the screws as you remove them as there are three different types. There is one coarse thread screw inside the battery compartment, two long machine screws (one by the battery door and one under the lens mount ring), and three short machine screws.
Bottom cover removed.
You'll need a jumper to complete the circuit between the batteries. You can carefully pop out the battery door from the baseplate to do this.
While holding down the battery door with your fingers you can press the shutter button with your thumb. With a screwdriver (or similar device) rotate the plastic gear next to the battery compartment and then press the shutter button. After a few attempts, camera should start to function. It may operate a bit sluggishly at first. Operate shutter several times until motor operates normally.
Make sure spring for rewind switch is positioned correctly before replacing bottom cover.
