Fujica ST801 Top Cover Removal

Removing the top cover of the Fujica ST801.
Although not necessary, I unscrew the outer viewfinder glass.
Remove the battery cover.
With film door open, stick your screwdriver in the fork of the rewind shaft, and unscrew the rewind knob.
Remove the retaining nut using a spanner wrench.
All done here.
Remove the screw on the back under the film crank.
Remove the screw on the right side.
Unscrew the retaining screw on top of the winding crank with a rubber pad.
Remove the spring washer.
Remove film advance lever.
Remove film advance coupler.
Remove the brass washer.
Lift off plastic trim cover.
All done here.
The cover can now be removed.
When lifting off the cover, be careful of the flash sync wire.
Support top cover so as not to stress flash sync wire.
Close-up right hand side.
Close-up left hand side.
Close-up pentaprism. Reassemble in reverse order.
