Removing the top & bottom covers of the Minolta A-2.
Remove the leatherette ring to expose the three tripod mount retaining screws. Remove the screw next to the film counter.
Remove the two screws at either end and the one screw at the back of the top cover.
With the film door open, put the shaft of a screwdriver in between the rind shaft fork and unscrew the rewind knob. Use a spanner to remove the film advance lever retainiing screw and lift of lever.
Bottom cover removed.
