Olympus OM-2 Top Cover Removal

Removing the top cover of the Olympus OM-2.

Removing the top cover of the Olympus OM-2.
Reove the flash/accessory shoe.
With the film door oopen, and the shaft of a screwdriver placed inbetween the fork of the rewind shaft, un screw the film rewind knob.
Remove the two screws that were hidden under the rewind knob.
All done here.
Remove the film advance lever retaining screw with a spanner.
Remove black plastic shroud.
Lift off advance lever.
Lift off the small washer.
Remove retaining ring with a spanner.
All done here.
Remove the T nut.
All done here.
You can now lift off the top cover.
