Honeywell Pentax H1 Top Cover Removal

Removing the Honeywell Pentax H1 top cover.
Remove the screws on either side of the viewfinder window.
With film door open, stick your screwdriver in the fork of the rewind shaft, and unscrew the rewind knob.
With a spanner wrench, remove the ASA memo dial.
Lift off the wave washer.
Remove the metal disc.
All done here.
The film counter dial retaing screw is LEFT-HAND THREAD.
Remove the arrow trim ring.
Use a spanner wrench to remove the LEFT-HAND THREAD counter dial retaining nut.
Remove the film counter dial.
Remove spring.
Remove the two screws and lift off the film advance lever.
Remove the two screws and lift off the film advance lever.
Loosen set screw and lift off shutter speed dial.
Remove the screw that was hidden under film advance lever.
All done here.
The top cover can now be removed.

Top cover removed - rear view.
Lift off shutter button.
Close up view - advance side front.
Two screws retain the viewfinder lens group.
Pentaprism is held in place with two springs.
